For the specialization Brands & Innovation I had to use a scenario thinking method for the brand Feraggio.

''Give Me More'' is set In 2033, 11 years from now.

'Give me more 2033' 

In the '‘Give Me More’' scenario, a short video shows the effects of the rise of hyper digitality and increase of waste. In a deteriorating world where people shut themselves off from reality. 

In ‘Give Me More’, there is a dangerous environmental degradation going on. In this world there is only technology which ensures that people shut themselves off from reality. A written scenario will show you the negative and positive effects of a hyper digital environment, and what the consequences could be for a brand.  

Scenario 'Give me more' 
february 15th 2033

In this scenario, there is only technology. This has divided the nation in believers of the innovative improvements’ technology holds, and believers of a human driven society wanting technological abuse and waste to decrease. 

 

In 2027, Apples IOS38 update did major changes to the world globally. There were new functions added to devices, making it possible for humans to replace technology as a substitute for themselves. The function did a lot of opening for brands, as they were shown that people can fully adapt without having judgments or any opinion about the changes. In 2029 the world had fully taken in the hyper technological advances and had thrown out use of tactical products and taken in digital products. 

Scenario 'Give me more' 
February 16th 2033

In 2033 the humans have been living in a hyper digital environment. But then on February 14th there was an announcement made of a new IOS update, named IOS39.1. The world was immediately set in riot. People that had been affected by the first update changes made their voices heard by going in protest against the tech, machine industry. The riot took place in Guiyu, China where all technological waste is dumped. 

In 2033 the humans have been living in a hyper digital environment. But then on February 14th there was an announcement made of a new IOS update, named IOS39.1. The world was immediately set in riot. In this scenario 28 per cent of humans had lost their jobs to industrial machines, having to find ways to adjust their work life through a new digital form. Most had taken an online course in the MetaVerse to be a data analytics. After a while this job became a mandatory need to achieve a hyper digital world. Data analytics vacancy were giving out as volunteer jobs.

 

Many people had little to no income. On the other hand, the younger generations hadn’t been healingly hit by the changes. For the younger generation this hyper technological adaption had made it easier for them to roam around the globe. They believe in the plan’s technology has for them. They no longer feel the pressure to pleasure of other human beings and have taken their own wellbeing in account, letting technology take over their difficulties.

 

The younger generation that has adapted itself to technology feel free. Online and offline, although they only feel happiness whenever they are online where they can change into the person they completely want to be.
